Chronology of cameras Kodak

The vertical stripes on this example indicate that it was made prior to 1953. It is perhaps the high point of box cameras, with a yellow filter and a portrait lens (on separate sliders), a shutter lock, flash contacts for Kodaks' dedicated flash, two tripod sockets and provision for cable release or a mechanical timer.

The supplementary portrait lens focuses the camera between 1.5 and 3 metres. Unlike some other 'E's this one has a black painted control panel.
